What is Gold Movement?
The Gold Movement is a powerful global campaign, powered by Blaze of Hope and The 1Voice Foundation, uniting families, nonprofits, and communities to raise awareness for childhood cancer. Every September, we turn cities gold—lighting up landmarks, telling stories of courage, and shining hope where it’s needed most. Our two signature initiatives—the Times Square Billboard on September 1st and a month-long global landmark lighting—create visible symbols of hope that unite communities worldwide to raise awareness for childhood cancer.
Important Dates:
September 1: Times Square Billboard Goes Live
All September: Global Gold Lighting Campaign

Blaze of Hope provides financial assistance to families with a child battling a life-threatening illness. By easing the financial burdens that come with hospital stays and treatments, the foundation allows parents to focus on what matters most—being present for their child during the fight of their life.
